The ipad is also boxed and comes with charge lead, plug and sim pin remover. The unit also charges the ipad when plugged into the mains. Both pieces are in good condition and delivers the rich, clear sound synonymous with B&O. It can be used as a sound system or an entertainment centre if you stream shows on the ipad. The ipad is quite old so some of the newer apps wont work, I overcame this by downloading them to my iPhone and then going into app store and my apps - not on this ipad and it offers you an older version of the app on some apps. This is a black Bang & Olufsen Beoplay A3 which docks with an IPAD to charge it and provide that brilliant B&O sound. It has the rubber inserts to hold either an IPAD 1 or IPAD 2/3, any of the models that used the original Apple 32 pin connector shown in the pictures. Also includes the power supply for UK 3 pin. It is in excellent condition and has always worked brilliantly. Selling now because we hadn’t been using it and found that our IPAD 3 that fits it has that Apple expending battery problem that pops out the screen so that’s now headed for spares. I’m not sure what the power output is but it goes really loud in a room with great stereo and has good battery life too.
