The electronically-controlled tangential arm played the record exactly as it was recorded. The tone arm was suspended in a special Optimum Pivot Point system that prevented vibrations from reaching the MMC 2 cartridge which has a stylus pressure of only 1g for minimal friction. And Beogram 6500 automatically registered the size of the record you were playing and adjusted the speed accordingly. Der CD-Player Beogram CD6500 war Teil der Beosystem 6500 Familie und ist im Design sowie den äußeren Abmessungen auf die anderen 6500er Systemkomponenten abgestimmt. Verbunden mit einem Beomaster 6500 konnte der Beogram CD6500 fernbedient werden, es genügte ein Druck auf die Play-Taste und die CD wurde abgespielt. Der Player läuft technisch einwandfrei. Er spielt auch CD-Rs ab. Nur arg zerkratzte CDs mag er nicht. Optisch sehr gut mit wenigen Gebrauchsspuren sowie Stapelspuren auf dem Deckel. Das Deck ist sauber und 100% wohnzimmertauglich. Alles in allem ein solider CD-Player mit dem Charme der 80er. Works great, plays beautiful, sounds super! But CD tray sometimes needs some little help push to close the tray. I guess this problem could be solved, by changing the robber belt for tray mechanism. Tray opens fast without any issue.
