For Sale: Heed Audio Obelisk Si Integrated amplifier and Obelisk X2 Power amplifier, sold as a set. Please note the following: I do not have the shorting plug for the Si, therefore this will be sold as a set for 2 reasons. One, with use of the X2, you will not need a shorting plug, and two, it sounds much better with the X2. This set is in very good condition, no scratches on faceplates, etc. The wire harness to connect the two amps, has the tubing showing on one end, it does not effect operation.Comes with power cables and Heed Remote Control, which I noticed the Mute feature doesnt work. Out of full-disclosure, please note that there is a low humming sound that emanates from the speakers and not from the units themselves. I dont know which unit it is emanating from and could be a simple ground loop issue with my electricity, and or the sensitivity of my speakers. 91 db. With this said, also note that this system/set sounds very nice, and obviously you dont hear the hum when playing. For the reasons above, I am discounting this system, which based on original retail of $2850.00 the set, would set the price around $1400.00.
