Linn Karik/Numerik CD Transport and D/A converter. The Karik needs repair, it may need a power supply. There were two different versions of power supplies used in the Karik - the original round Brilliant switch mode supply and the later rectangular Slimline Brilliant switch mode power supply. Some of our other previously manufactured products used the same round and or Slimline power supplies, such as models of the Kairn, Kremlin, Wakonda and Numerik during this production period. It is possible that a Linn retailer may have a damaged product that the power supply can be salvaged from, however, it is best that a Linn retailer inspects your Karik to confirm if indeed the power supply is causing the issue.
