Description
Alright Ladies and Gentelmen, here is a Bentley of CD Players, world famous 3D C.R. reference tube based (Nuvistor) and featuring excellent 24Bit internal DAC, true audiophile CD player made by British Musical Fidelity. Rarely seen and for a reason. Yes, it can be considered vintage, but it will outperform many modern CD players with ease, and then more. The unit built like a tank and is pretty heavy for CD player - 45lb! Unit works as it should and sounds awesome. I liked how it sounds via internal DAC and tube output the most, I do like that more analogue tube sound. I did used it via Digital Coax output feeding my reference California Audio Labs tube DAC, and didnt find significant difference, so I continued to use it via RCA output directly into my Musical Fidelity Nu-Vista integrated amplifier.I am the second owner, but unit has been kept in impeccable condition. You will be hard pressed to find any imperfections. Unit performs as it should and plays both, CDs and CD-Rs. Face plate is pretty self explanatory. Original remote will be included, as well as, standard power cable. I will also include a Carbon Fiber mat for CDs and CD-Rs to improve sound(works some times). Unit will come in original box with original package.Box looks a bit beaten up, but sturdy.I probably will regret this sale, but I cannot justify keeping it at this point since I ripped all my CDs onto Bluesound Vault drive at CD quality, and its just an easier way to access the complete library in a moment, so I no longer really listen to CDs. I still have my reference CD Transport in my main system, and that should be enough for me.The only thing I cannot locate is original manual, though I know that I just seen it recently laying around. Anyway, the manual is available online for a free download if needed. Player is pretty self explanatory, just any other CD player. Unit is for 120V operation. Even though it is in like new condition, I am selling it like any other vintage electronics - strictly AS IS but guaranteed not DOA.
