Cosmetically this Arcam is in very good condition. Not mint, but highly presentable. Please do see all the photos. Functional and sonically, she works and sounds great! Amazing amount of inputs, including eight analog inputs, and multiple digital inputs. See photo of back. I tested all the inputs in two channel stereo mode listening; no surround sound testing. The issue is that the fans come on way before they should. Theoretically, the fan should only come on when playing at very high volumes, or driving a very demanding load into the speakers. However, these fan switch on shortly after powering up the receiver. Almost certainly not noticeable from your listening position when the music is playing, but something is not right here. You are looking at a listing for a Sanyo FWDV225F DVD Player / VCR combination unit. It is sold in NOT WORKING condition. The unit is in good physical shape except for some scratches on the front, but the VCR has excessive noise in SLP/EP and LP modes (See listing photos 10 and 11, respectively). SP mode seems to be okay (see picture 12), but the tape sometimes sounds like it is crinkling during operation. The VCR a couple of times during testing has failed to load tapes and shut off. I have not seen any damage to my tapes, but Im thinking these VCR issues could be some sort of alignment problem. VHS recording was not tested. The DVD player has no signs of life whatsoever. Switching to DVD mode results in a blank screen. The DVD eject button does not open the door.
