Point to point wired all tube amp. - Upgraded tubes ( 68HC, Soviet 6p1, 5u4c ) - 4 upgraded solen “fast caps” in the preamp section - upgraded capacitor and bleeder to safely drain power when disconnected - updated fixed bias wiring With the mods this amp sounds dramatically better than the stock versions. With low wattage tube amps the speaker pairing is important. I’ve used it with 90db efficient speakers and it was never near max volume. I never felt i needed it to be louder and it sounds very nice.
