Purchase on July 29. 1986. The The electric pump needs repair or replacement. The company no longer makes the electric pumps. Only manual pumps are available. The machine and vacuum work. If you do not want to repair the pump and you do not want to spend the money on a manual one , you can put some fluid in a squirt bottle, add a little to the brush and use it that way. It is not returnable so please select carefully. The dust cover is cracked and the seams are split. One side already fell off ( of the dust cover ) This condition of the cover is deteriorating as the dust cover material is becoming more brittle as it sits. Hopefully it can be repaired with the appropriate glue, if not, consider this machine with no dust cover at all.I have reduced the price accordingly. Thank you. I have tested and works properly! Included is what is in pictures! Only real flaw is possibly a stress crack in plastic cover pictured, but it doesn’t go all the way through, some signs of wear but quite excellent! Thanks! Again!

Habe sie als defekt eingestellt weil ich nicht weiß ob der Tank sauber ist !! Wurde von mir gereinigt mit VE Wasser kann aber nicht sagen ob da noch Reste von der getrockneten Reinigungsflüssigkeit ist !! Man muss also eventuell noch mal den Tank Reinigen oder die Flüssigkeit von Hand auftragen ! Selbstabholung bevorzugt (Testen) Versand möglich

Nitty Gritty Vinyl / Record Cleaner Model 1.5 in excellent working condition. I bought this as a new item from Nitty Gritty in 2008 as a blemished unit. But I never saw any blemishes on it. It is a 1.5 model which is fully automatic for the scrubbing and vacuum cycle but you do need to manually put on the cleaning fluid which is a normal action for all Nitty Gritty record cleaning machines. The Cleaning fluid can be self made with distilled water, alcohol and a tiny amount of mild detergent. I use a high proof vodka, not isopropyl alcohol but its your choice. I can send you the formula for this once you purchase the unit if interested. Or you can purchase pre-made record cleaner from an Audio store or Nitty Gritty. The tray that slides under the unit with the purpose to catch any excess fluids during the cleaning cycle is not included. (I lost it) In my opinion it is not needed. I have NEVER had any excess fluid come out when cleaning records. One can be acquired from Nitty Gritty for $18 plus shipping or you can make your own at home if you wish one. Included is original box and a new unopened pack of rubber parts that turn the record in case the existing one gets used up. Original Owners manual included. I rarely used this unit. Perhaps less than 45 times at the most. The brushes and pads are in very good condition. This unit retails for over $1000.00 today. Thank you.
