Unit is in nice used condition other than both phono outputs have a channel out. All other inputs and outputs are functional. This is a personal use item not from an estate or yard sale, etc.. All electrolytics replaced with Nichicon Muse and Fine Gold caps. Some lettering loss around volume knob. Case recently repainted with Rustoleum textured black. Presenting a gently used Nikko Beta II stereo preamplifier. The Beta II has capacity for two phono inputs, 2 tape inputs, auxiliary and tuner. There are two pair of outputs. All RCA connections are firm and intact. The device is comes well cared for and from a smoke free home. The front panel is pristine with only minor superficial nicks on rear top corners of the case. It has been cleaned and checked over by Just Audio in Maryland and functions perfectly. I have neither tape or vinyl in my home so I was unable to test those prior to this sale. The Beta II will be double-boxed for shipment in the contiguous US via United Parcel Service. This can also be picked up in Baltimore, Maryland region to avoid shipping cost. Nikko Beta II Pre Amplifier - Black, Vintage 1978 in very good condition with some minor previous use scratches. Some numbers on the front panel near the Volume dial have become abraded. Unit was functionally tested in a home setup, using a separate amplifier with audio feed from different components. All tested well as expected. Included is an interior picture of the main CCA. No actual measurement data was taken, but all features functioned and sounded normal. Unit is sold without any guarantee on spec conditions. Comes with original unit brochure. Nikko Beta III Stereo Preamplifier acquired from the family of the original owner. Thoroughly tested all features and functions work as they should. All inputs (including phono) feed their dedicated signal path. Both left and right outputs also pass a strong signal. This unit has a toroid transformer inside which is rare for a preamplifier. Cosmetically, there were some scratches and scuffs on the top of the case which I used black marker to conceal. Face, switches, knobs are all excellent. A very nice fully functional Nikko Beta II preamp that has been recapped using Nichicon audio grade caps.The faceplate is in nice shape with a few minor nicks on top. It has not been racked. See pictures. The top case is in good shape with some light scratches on the front and sides. Overall, the unit presents very well. One of Nikkos best preamps with a very nice phono stage that will allow two turntables and two amplifiers. Overall, there are connections for two amplifiers, two tape units, two turntables, tuner and auxillary. The unit has a nice audio muting feature that will give you a lot of volume flexibility. A real nice sounding preamp on par with the other preamps from the 70s by Sansui, Marantz, Yamaha and others. it will be carefully boxed to avoid any shipping abuse and sent in one business day or less.

For your consideration is a vintage Nikko four component stereo system. Alpha iii power MOS FET / DC stereo power amplifier, Beta 20 stereo preamp, Gamma 30 AM/FM stereo tuner and Eq 20 graphic equalizer. All four components are rack mountable. All units have been professionally serviced and carefully tested for all functions and they are in excellent working order. All controls and switches have been cleaned and lubed for many years of smooth and accurate operation. All light bulbs have been replaced as needed. Two equalizer slider knobs have been replaced. The power amplifier output DC offset has been adjusted for optimum performance. Delivering 80 watts per channel into 8 ohms, this combo can function as the centerpiece of any hi-fi stereo system. The Alpha iii power amplifier is powered by a dual power supply circuitry for ultra clean output with excellent frequency response at high volume. Featuring a superb & sophisticated phono stage, this system sounds fantastic! Cosmetic condition is used. The left rack mount ear is bent on the Gamma 30 tuner. The system will be professionally packaged for safe delivery.

Nikko Beta II Stereo Pre-Amplifier in Original Box PLEASE READ Unit powers on but the Left channel is buzzy and weak. Swapping Left and Right into a power amplifier switches the speaker buzz so I am led to believe there is a problem with the Left output on this unit. Inputs and knobs all function correctly, just that issue with the Left output. Selling this unit AS-IS. Package weighs approximately 16lbs and cost of shipping varies by buyer location.
