Coveted vintage amp from the early eighties. I am the original owner, bought new from Tech HiFi and used as the primary amp in my main setup for several years. Had intended to use for bass in bi-amped system with a pair of Macintosh tube amps so I had it completely serviced and main capacitors replaced/upgraded for around $250. Job change and three kids and life kept me from realizing the dream of a bi-amped system and I never put it back into service so main capacitors are like new. It has been stored in climate controlled, non-smoking room (not basement) ever since. Need to finally clear out audiophile stuff. I plugged this in and have a video attached so you can see/hear for yourself that this works fine. (Note: only this power amplifier is for sale, speakers and background equipment if any, showing in the video are for demonstration purposes only and are NOT included.) I used small 6 bookshelf speakers just to test playback but this amp can drive the most demanding speakers. See spec sheet in images. I will include the original manual, Nikko high end sales brochure, warranty registration card and, as a bonus, the official service manual for this amp. ADDED 2 interior photos showing how clean this amp is and also the great design with two massive power supplies. This is basically two mono power blocks. The four large can capacitors are the ones I had replaced and they are new with only a few minutes use.
