This is the 2022 version 2.1 re-release of the legendary cult classic series by NHT. I originally paid $770 for this bundle on Amazon prime 2 years ago. Selling at a very steep discount because I no longer need these and they have some slight damage from when they were mishandled by a moving company. Everything has been tested and works flawlessly. Also including a full set of 20 high quality banana plugs that you can use to wire everything up. Just add some Amazon basics 14 gauge wiring and youre all good to go. This is an absolutely fantastic high resolution compact surround sound system. Really wonderful for low volume listening or small to medium size rooms. Just add any subwoofer (or two!) and you have a complete 5.1 channel system at an amazing price. You can add additional NHT speakers for any other configuration including Dolby Atmos. If you ever have any problems with any of the speakers, you can very easily reach the NHT parts department and they still have any replacement parts you could want, because these are the current production year and they are not vintage pieces. This is the incredibly smooth and detailed updated version of the cult classic from the late 90s and early 2000s. Complete with a vastly upgraded woofer, improved magnet, rubber surrounds, and more refined and robust tweeter. Also hugely upgraded quality crossovers contribute to a cleaner more detailed sound with better soundstage, deeper bass. Simply put, huge improvements in every single way. Unfortunately these do have some minor scratches and dents, so theyre being sold at a tremendous discount. These are almost never available on eBay, so dont miss out on this! These are formulated to have an f3 of about 40 Hz in a 29 Liter ported enclosure, or 80 hz in 15 liters sealed. Not the lowest earth shaking bass, but definitely ULTRA fast and high resolution mid-bass. This is an extremely good woofer for small 3-way tower speakers and should ideally be crossed over around 180hz, but no higher than 1k hz. Personally, I would put a sharp 30 hz high pass on this to keep the excursion and power handling within safe limits. Wonderful pair of matching serial number and HT super one speakers. No snags in the grills. Do you have a couple of small cosmetic marks which you can see in the photos. New crossover capacitors have been installed in both speakers with high-quality replacements. These should last for decades. The high Pass crossovers were replaced with a Clarity Caps, Matching the original specs. The woofer capacitor was replaced with a high quality axial cap. Resisters were replaced with 1% spec wire wound, copper lead models. $55 in materials. The upgrade was pretty drastic in clarity. Bass was always good but now smoother. Drivers are in perfect shape with no tears or rips or rot. The speakers sound wonderful. They produce great sound for their size. I have listened to many, many monitor speakers and these rank with some of the best. Truly. They come with the original plastic wrap and foam corner, supports and protectors. Come with original box and will be double boxed as shown for safe shipping. You will not find another pair like this for quite some. They are very special and a great pair of listening monitors. They have a nominal impedance of 8 ohms and suggested amplified power between 25 and 150 Watts. Speakers are in very good condition, one speaker cabinet has a small imperfection at the back top edge see photo. Tweeters, woofer cones, and surrounds are in excellent condition. Speakers measure approximately 12 inches high by 7 inches wide.
