Here is a pair of the classic Cambridge Soundworks Newton series M-80 3-way ported bookshelf speakers. These speakers were the top of the line bookshelf size speaker that Cambridge Soundworks offered. Each speaker has a 3/4” dome tweeter, 3 1/2” midrange, and 8” roofer with dual ports in the rear of the cabinet. The crossover network is good quality and these were well reviewed and considered some of the best sounding speakers under $1000 when they came out. The grey cabinets do have a few nicks and splits in the material on the front bottom right. These issues in no way interfere with the sound quality as these speakers put out accurate clear sound with frequency response of 40 hz - 22,000 hz and a power handling up to 150 watts rms. Note these speakers have dual sets of terminals on the back so they may be bi-wired if needed. Due to the high cost of shipping these speakers they are local pickup only. They were carefully and rarely used at home. They are both very clean not cosmetically and functionally. All the drivers are intact. The case is in pristine condition with a few minor almost invisible blemishes. The grills are perfect condition, no blemishes or tears. They each weigh 26lbs.
