This listing is for a single (1) Fountek NeoCD3.0 ribbon tweeter. Several years ago I purchased a pair of custom made tower speakers that included a matching but unfinished center speaker. The tweeter was mounted in it, but the crossover was never finished nor the woofers installed. I have tested the tweeter with music through a 3-way crossover & it sounds awesome. These are currently $124.40 each from Madisound. Impedance is 7 ohms & face plate o.d. is 4 3/8.A full datasheet will be included. The Fountek NeoCD3.0 is a true ribbon tweeter featuring an 8 x 60mm diaphragm, a high power neodymium magnet and a 110mm circular alloy faceplate. The ribbon material is an ultra light (10mg) multilayer aluminium sandwich with a cross section of 0.015mm (approx 0.6 thou).This medium sized ribbon tweeter has a high sensitivity of 93 dB and a broad operating range of between 1.4 kHz to 40 Khz.
