I recently built these Amp Camp Amps from the DIY audio store and used my custom Cardas Audio gold XLR jacks for input. I used these for about 50 hours to test burn in and all the settings. They sound great as Class A amplifiers driving my 96 db efficient loudspeakers. They are only 15 watts maximum so they dont get very loud on less efficient speakers. Included is two amplifiers for dual mono balanced operation, two 24v meanwell DC power supplies, and two AC cables. I will package these in one larger box with packing peanuts and ship to the lower 48. Bid with confidence!

We now have the latest version of this circuit available in the store complete with Fairchild JFETs and all directly supplied by Nelson Pass. This is an assembled version of the above line stage preamplifier. Simple single input and output. Machined volume knob, Alps attenuator, and Audioquest Ruby copper wiring. Mit originalem HiFi-Exklusiv Testheft Ausgabe III/1991 hier aus meiner Sammlung zum Verkauf: Die rare Edelvorstufe, der Vorverstärker, das Forte Audio Model 40, in kompromissloser Class-A-Technik ausgelegt, noch aus der Nelson Pass Entwicklungszeit bei der Fa. Forte Audio. Es handelt sich um die letzte Endwicklungsstufe des 40er Modells überhaupt. Dies ist erkennbar am zusätzlichen XLR-Eingang und einem XLR-Ausgang. Siehe Fotos. Zum Werterhalt des Vorverstärkers sind fast alle Kondensatoren erneuert und durch leistungsfähigere neuzeitliche Varianten (Nichicon Fine Gold) ersetzt worden. Hieraus resultiert eine feinere räumlichere Klangabbildung verbunden mit einer knochentrockenen Tiefbassabbildung. Auch der serienmäßige Nabelschnuranschluß ist geändert. Das Versorgungskabel ist jetzt an beiden Enden abnehmbar. Hierzu hat der Vorverstärker eine zusätzliche Anschlußbuchse für die +/- 19Volt-Gleichspannungsversorgung spendiert bekommen. Dieses Netzteil hat selbstverständlich auch neue Kondensatoren bekommen und ist serienmäßig auf 220Volt eingestellt.

Built these as a recent project. Ran them as mono blocks to a pair of Klipsch Heresy IIs (also for sale). Really liked them, sounded amazing, but I am downsizing. Wunderbar klingende Vorstufe nach Nelson Pass. ALPS Poti, der AUX Eingang ist kanalgetrennt justierbar über interne Trimmpotis, dadurch sehr flexibel einsetzbar. Neu aufgebaut, lediglich das Gehäuse und der Netztrafo sind älteren Datums. DIY. Kaltgerätebuchse. 220/240 Volt. Ringkerntrafo. Absolut Brumm- und rauschfrei. Gute Machart, siehe Bilder.
