Linn Isobarik PMS Active speakers c/w Naim Naxo 3-6. Relisted at a lower starting price to find where the value of these are! I had my Linn/Naim active Isobarik system last set up and being used about 5 years ago before I moved house with it all working very well indeed. Ive since had it carefully stored but realistically I dont think Ill have the opportunity to get it all set up again any time soon so Ive been selling the Naim equipment bit by bit and now its time to let the speakers and crossover go too. Please note that my PMS Isobariks are for ACTIVE USE ONLY as the passive crossovers have been removed from the bottom of the speakers by the previous owner.This is one of the reasons Im including the Naim Naxo 3-6 crossover in the sale to make it a more viable proposition for the next person who wants to build one of these truly remarkable active audio systems. The Naxo 3-6 was serviced by Witch Hat Audio in 2014 so might be due for another service soon but should also be working very well as is. Its an Olive piece with an unmarked case other than the tiniest nick on the edge of the metal case above the on/off knob. To the speakers, there is a photo of every drive unit to take a look at but all the drive units are undamaged and bear close inspection.The cabinets of both speakers are lovely, no damage whatsoever worth mentioning to the sides, fronts, tops and backs and just the spike marks on the undersides. The velcro for the grilles is all intact and all 4 grilles are in excellent condition and of very good quality. I bought these aftermarket grilles when I first got the speakers at considerable cost and they show no signs of breaking up. Overall the speakers are in excellent condition all round. The stands are the later closed in type which I think enhances the overall look and are also in very good condition. They have the usual spikes top and bottom. To reiterate these CANNOT BE USED PASSIVELY unless the passive crossovers are obtained and reinstated. They sound much better active anyway!!!
