It cycled through stations with the knob, the screen does power up and work, the light switch either does not work or more than likely the bulb is burnt. Missing antenna but does pick up channels where I am.

National Panasonic Receiver RF-2800B/BA This radio is cool. It’s so cool. Such an awesome looking radio. It works and sounds great. I’m not sure if all the bands work but FM comes in nice and clear. When I switch bands the indicator needle moves when turning the dial and you can barely hear a high pitch tone changing. I didn’t play with it for too long and it might be where I live in Florida because when I play with my recently purchased C.Crane Sky Wave SSB radio I rarely get a signal and it’s something in Spanish, that’s after two three hours of signal searching. I’m just getting started in this hobby. I’m too amateurish to mess with this Panasonic. It definitely needs cleaning and I will leave that up to the buyer. The digital display works and lights up but no other lights turn on when light switch is turned on. When you turn the tuning dial there is a spot where it squeaks a bit. All other knobs and switches seem to be in working order as stuff changes when you play with them. I haven’t tried to operate this radio with batteries but the battery compartment looks clean and doesn’t look like batteries ever leaked in there. The antenna is functional, goes up and down just fine and swivels holding position. It does have a slight banana curve towards the top. Overall the condition is very good. The nylon strap is flexible and not dry rotted. There are no cracks or chips in the plastic body and everything is in place. It’s just dirty. Comes with original instructions manual and two conversion plugs for use in foreign countries, I think. I’m probably missing something so if you have any questions please message me.
