Tested on a Hickok TV-3 military tester that has been calibrated. Firm base, excellent silvering. Tube tests at 138-137 where pass/fail is 80. New in box #80 tubes usually test 145+/- 5, so this is quite strong. These are relative numbers and do not indicate percentages. I rarely sell globe/balloon #80s, especially RCA or Cunninghams- because almost every one that I find is gassy- and it is the unspoken truth that it is true of most that you see on ebay. Unit is in great condition physically. Was hardly used by the original owner and was put in storage several years ago. Powers up and appears to work fine, but it has not been serviced recently so I am not selling it as a perfect/serviced/refurbished unit. It may need alignment or other basic attention. Two, new in box, National Union #45 tubes, with the shouldered glass envelope. These are of course exact equivalents to the UX245/UX-245, CX345/CX-345, 145, and 245 tubes. Tubes are matched for dynamic gain and structure- test at 2200, 2150 where pass/fail is 1170 micromho. The tubes have the same structure inside and out, having matching date codes JU, November 1946.
