If considering a Naim amp be sure what you are getting. You may see one going for less but it is probably 10 years old. Check the serial number. This is a 2022 unit. This is also a 250 DR, not a 250 which is a major difference as this has the Statement series transistors and the much improved power supplies. If it has a little DR sticker to the lower right of the data plate it is an upgraded unit from an older 250. This is an original DR .My listening time is limited so when I do I prefer my 300B amp. If going solid state this is the amp I would keep.Ive tried many, many solid state amps and this is one that makes music.NAP 250DR power amplifier is housed in a Classic Series low-resonance anodised aluminium casing, and delivers 80W per channel (at 8 ohms).
