Both loading and tracking belts have been replaced and the laser lens was also carefully cleaned. Discs load up quickly and play perfectly throughout with absolutely ZERO skipping. Nakamichi OMS-7 Compact Disc Player AS-IS Parts Repair As this item is being sold AS-IS, this item should be considered to have defects, and we have done our best to disclose them. In the case of an item that doesnt function as intended, there is a chance that other flaws, that we are not aware of, may be present. Please take that into consideration when purchasing. CD player was plugged in, when the power button is pressed it spins the CD drive for just a second then stops. When you press the power button again the lights flicker on for less than a second then turns off. No Further testing was done. As we do not repair electronics, nor have we attempted any repairs. We list items in a for AS-IS/PARTS REPAIR condition in the hopes that someone that can repair these items, or salvage parts from them that they might find useful. In either case, units sold in an AS-IS/PARTS REPAIR condition, are not returnable.
