Time to move on this incredible Nakamichi 1000 Mk1 Tri-Tracer Cassette Deck on to its next custodian. From my own personal collection and little used in the 2yrs I have owned it. Comes with the original brochure which includes a penchart frequency response from the actual deck. 20-20khz in 1976!! The kit also includes a mirror cassette, Nakamichi SX High Bias tape, plus a head cleaning kit.I also purchased a front tape well door from Italy which has a perspex fascia which allows you to see the tape which is included in the sale. Also included is a complete set of brand new replacement belts and tyres imported from the USA (not cheap Chinese rubbish). This is a multi voltage deck so can be used pretty much anywhere in the world. Sound quality puts most other decks to shame especially when playing pre recorded tapes. Deck also features record head calibration. The PB head has been checked with an ANT Audio azimuth test tape as well as Dolby level calibration. These test tapes are NOT included in the sale. The wooden case is in good condition and was recently polished. This machine weighs over 20kg but will be double boxed and filled with PU pellets for complete protection. One thing is the idler wheel tyre will need replacing as FF and rew are rather slow but as previously mentioned, a complete belt/tyre kit is included. This deck wasnt found in a skip or a house clearance. It is a fabulous piece of HiFi history that has been cherished and looked after. 100% positive feedback.
