This set has only been tested as you see it (with tuner). Phono/aux/tape and all other inputs and outputs have not been tested. When using as you see it the right channel (speaker) is not working. The power amp (420) has been taken apart by the previous owner (some screws on front and side missing). The tuner (430) and preamp (410) seem to be working correctly (buttons, dials functioning) but not guaranteed. Cosmetically they have wear from use with the 410 having many scratches and blemishes. Nakamichi FM Stereo Tuner Model 430. Fully functioning, used condition. The only issues with this unit appear to be cosmetic in nature. There is metal burring on the faceplate edges as pictured, and overall, the black paint finish shows surface fading, scratching and wear. Please pay close attention to the images provided, as they will present the most accurate description of the unit’s physical condition. The red LED frequency indicator in the tuner illuminates, but the green range bulb(s) in the tuner window does not illuminate. I am not an electronics expert and do not claim to have any expert knowledge of the precise working condition of the unit. There may be circuit elements that could use replacing for the unit to operate “like new.” There is intermittent crackling when the output knob is turned but audio signal never goes out.
