The worlds most expensive and best, most elaborate tapedeck, probably unique in this state. It acts in a way like a shrine on a, precious wood casing and gold plated, absolutely impressive. Incl. Plexiglas dust cover Front panel with the gold lettering. It was the identical replacement tape deck and was almost not used, was in the closet most of the time.

Physical condition - excellent, almost no imperfections. Electrical condition - fast forward and rewind work but are sluggish. Play does work but sometimes stops unexpectedly. It just sat there in the original box year after year after year... If you didnt already know this, it is actually rack mountable you just take it out of the wood case. Would make a great addition to your studio. Electrical condition - This unit sat for quite a few years unused in the original box. Upon acquiring it from the owner I had tested out but appears that it doesnt want to play or fast forward. This is probably due to it needing belts as well as some other adjustments. The VU meters work properly, as well as the audio amplifier pass through circuit. From talking to several experts typically restorations can run $500-$1000 for a unit like this. But if it only needs some minor things probably would be more toward the $500 range. I need to sell some equipment fast due to some large unexpected expenses. So my loss is your gain. You will almost never see these for sale with original box and all original packing materials. Dont miss out. Unit will be packed in special foam inside original box without the cabinet and then be placed in a larger outer box. The wood cabinet will then be sent in a separate box. this is why shipping is expensive but its a fragile unit so I want to take all the proper precautions.
