Physical condition - this unit is in beautiful condition with no imperfections I can find. I dont believe it was actually ever used according to what I heard from the owner. It just sat there in the original box year after year after year... If you didnt already know this, it is actually rack mountable you just take it out of the wood case. Would make a great addition to your studio. Electrical condition - This unit sat for quite a few years unused in the original box. Upon acquiring it from the owner I had tested out but appears that it doesnt want to play or fast forward. This is probably due to it needing belts as well as some other adjustments. The VU meters work properly, as well as the audio amplifier pass through circuit. From talking to several experts typically restorations can run $500-$1000 for a unit like this. But if it only needs some minor things probably would be more toward the $500 range. I need to sell some equipment fast due to some large unexpected expenses. So my loss is your gain. You will almost never see these for sale with original box and all original packing materials. Dont miss out. Unit will be packed in special foam inside original box without the cabinet and then be placed in a larger outer box.
