We have this preowned Naim NAC52 preamplifier. It is in very good condition with some very minor cosmetic marks which can be seen in the pictures attached. The unit was serviced in June 2021 by Infidelity Music Systems (General service inc. Tantalum capacitors and bipolar transistors replaced and updated optocouplers installed, Naim paperwork included), and comes with its original packaging. This NAC52 is the later version which will also function using the latest Naim pre-amplifier remotes as required. It also comes with its originally included, newer style Naim remote control, both digital and analogue power supply connection leads, BNC-phono adapters, and NA522 internal linking PCB to enable Phono input as line-level input). Moving magnet phono PCB currently installed. Please note this pre-amplifier requires an external Naim power supply such as the Supercap to operate. My entire Naim system is up for sale so grab a bargain! relatively speaking......I simply need to downsize and reduce the box count and box size of some items, I am looking at either the new 200 or 300 series, a step back in performance from what I have heard so far but I cant have an 11 box system anymore! I want everything to match so I am selling and changing the lot and I am sure I will enjoy whatever I have going forward.Anyway the 252 needs no introduction, stunning pre amp, I have had three in my Naim career as such, I tend to change them for newer items when funds permit and buy ex-dem so I still get a 5 year warranty, I used to work in the industry for over ten years so buy with confidence. The later 252s seem to suffer with iffy mute relays, fear not as this one has just come back from Naim and has had them replaced, I only bought this two months ago ex-dem from Soundcraft Ashford so still almost 5 years left on the warranty, as above I am only selling due to my circumstances changing at home. I also have a Supercap DR for sale and a 282 if the 252 is out of budget at the moment, and the rest of my system so do take a look. The 252 comes with the correct Burndy and 5 pin Snaic but you will require a Supercap of some sort, Olive up to DR will work but the latter is quite a sonic improvement, especially the DR! Dont risk it with and old 252, this one is mint, it looks strange in the photos but I find Naim products dont photo well in real life, in person its mint no issues and just back from Naim and only two months short of a 5 year warranty, a winner! For those that have not heard a 252, it makes a 282 sound broken even with a Supercap DR, I listen mostly late at night and nothing comes close to the 252s full dynamic range and refinement at any volume level. The starting bid I think is sensible and £1500 less than what I gave for her only two months ago. Please note couriers will not insure for full value so its sent at the buyers risk, when I sent her to Naim its the same! even though it goes via a retailer, collection is preferred but I will send if desperate and cover the costs to mainland.

Welcome to my auction, I am selling all of my Naim system as I need to reduce my box count and generally downsize.I worked for a Naim retailer for ten years so my equipment is well looked after and well matched up.I have had many Naim amps but the 250DR is the best I have had so far in terms of refinement and low background noise, I had a standard 250 non DR before and the difference was huge. My most loved systems are always front end heavy so never felt the benefit of a 300 or 500 unless using a 500 series source and pre amp. I use a 250 because it drives my speakers just fine and is the first amp that loses the power stage for a pre.This unit is from 2020 and I bought it ex demonstration from some old work colleagues as I am not out of the industry now. I got a 5 year warranty and this was 18 months ago so still 3.5 years left on that.Complete with the original box and cabling, In great condition no marks that I can see, not the best photos sorry!grab a bargain!
