This auction is for: Naim Nap 110 Power Amplifier Rare Olive. For parts not working. This was originally a chrome bumper amp sent back to Naim many years ago to be converted to an Olive case/facia. The owner had upgraded to a 72 preamp and wanted his power amp to match. This is something Naim were prepared to do back in the day. This makes this a rare amp. Read Important A couple of weeks ago the amp developed a fault and now it will only “amplify” through one channel. There is sound from the other but at a vastely reduced volume level. I’m advertising as I’m sure someone with knowledge of electronics could save this amp for far less than I have been quoted by Naim. Most annoying of all is that I had the 110 service by Witch Hat audio in April 2022, see pics of certificate. No cables, auction is for amplifier only. Case has feet marks from pre amp which used to sit on top. But overall this unit is in good condition. Please study pics and thanks for looking.

Naim NAC 32 Pre-Amplifier (Ryan Sound Lab upgraded) & NAP 110 Amplifier. I’m selling these on behalf of a lovely family, the gentleman of which loved his NAIM gear. What I know of these units I will write in the description. I have had these professionally checked by Wilkinson’s of Nelson. They came with Ryan Sound Lab boxes containing various boards. On inspection, all the cards in these boxes are the original NAIM components. The units themselves feature the upgraded Ryan Sound Labs kit. (Please note, the original NAIM boards are not included in the sale and will be sold separately). As described on the Wilkinson’s invoice the upgrades state that Phono 2 is set for high quality NA328/2 variable. Phono 1 is set for NA325/5 Moving Coil. All the units have been tested by Wilkinson’s. I’m also selling the NAIM Snaps unit as a separate sale. All in very good cosmetic condition and have been very well cared for. Originally launched way back in 1979 in the half width case, it continued in production until 1987. In good overall cosmetic condition (see images please), it will be professionally packed, and come with a SNAIC cable plus our standard three month warranty. Naim Say…. The purpose of an audio amplifier is to drive loudspeakers without loss of musical information. In our view many commonly accepted parameters have little to do with loss of information and in some instances, such as the pursuit of large band¬widths or low distortion, unqualified acceptance of them can actually lead to the creation of mechanisms that cause loss of information. Dynamic output impedance, open loop bandwidth, slew rate, propagation delay and stability margins are only some of the many other factors to which we attach importance, and which must all be brought into positive balance. To this end our amplifiers not only achieve low harmonic distortion, low noise and wide power bandwidth, but also have a constant dynamic output impedance over the whole audio bandwidth. They are able to drive reactive loads without any appreciable change in distortion and are not sensitive to the absolute impedance of the load.
