The unique design is a stand out, and is a welcome change from all-the-same black amp boxes. Will drive high efficiency speakers in a medium sized room no problem. ALSO Wireless Bluetooth connectivity. Amp review: The NAD D 3020 remains a fantastic piece of hi-fi kit. The compact design and breadth of connections aside, its the punchy, exciting, nuanced performance that truly engages us. Headphone review: The goal of the HP 50 headphone is to convey the same feeling as when listening to speakers. The sound character is warm, cozy and the sound is open. The bass really fills in the bottom, but without dominating the sound. Cymbals, brass instruments and voices can sound a tad intrusive when listening loud on many headphones, but not here. The headphones come with an extra cable that has an inline control that will communicate with your Apple devices. Take full control of your music with a simple touch of the 3-button multi-click remote. NOTE: The original D 3020 used a matte black rubber material on the sides of the unit. These were prone to wear and soon became scratched, scraped and sticky. This unit was professionally resurfaced to eliminate the rubber sticky surface material. It now sports a hard, smooth satin black surface. Headphones have some surface wear on edges of cups. Nothing that will show up in photographs. Moderate use in smoke/pet free environment.
