This was part of NADs Power Envelope series, which was an all-discrete class AB rail-switching design that allowed momentary peaks to exceed the amps steady-state available power. This power amp is rated at 40W per channel continuous @ 0.03% THD. Its clipping power is closer to 60W per channel. Its a lot of amp in an understated package. This amp has been freshly re-capped and restored -- *all* electrolytic caps have been replaced, with premium parts in signal positions and low-impedance parts in supply positions. The old single-turn trimmers, which were a common failure point, have been replaced with sealed multi-turn trimmers, which allow both greater reliability and more adjustment precision. The amp was just realigned and biased and is ready to play some music from your favorite preamp. All the transistors are the original matched parts. RCA inputs, binding post/banana plug speaker outputs. Ill also include a copy of the service manual (extremely hard to find) in case you ever need to have it serviced. There are a couple scratches on the top of the case.
