This item is in original box and well looked after but has some lights not working (see photos and video). Updated to latest firmware and tested on all inputs and output frequencies 44.1/48/96/192kHz. has a few surface scratches (see photos). Lights not working are COAX 1, input select and 44.1kHz light. A great way to add hires digital music to a Hi-fi set up or to upgrade an existing sources DAC. Also works as a great headphone amp. The NAD D 1050 USB DAC is the best way to add Computer Audio and HD Digital to your component hi-fi system. Both the digital and the analogue circuits are highly optimized, and are based on techniques developed and proven over NAD’s history. The digital inputs cater to many different digital sources. SPDIF inputs support both coaxial and optical connectors. The USB input is special; supporting USB Audio Codec 2.0 allowing for 192kHz signal transmission, its asynchronous operation mode uses the D 1050’s high precision clock to control the output of the connected USB device for lowest possible jitter. A choice of true balanced or low impedance single-ended outputs allows connection to a broad range of preamps. A discrete low impedance headphone amplifier rounds out the capabilities of this compact and affordable DAC. NAD 1050 | audiophiler USB DAC und KopfhörerverstärkerFarbe: Graphit Gekauft im März 2019 und mit sehr leistungshungrigen Kopfhörern betrieben, denen er noch einmal deutlich mehr Ausdruck und Raum verliehen hat, als sein Vorgänger von Oehlbach. Die Anschlüsse machen einfach nur glücklich: USB (super Treiber-Integration und Dauerfunktion bei mir in Windows 10), 2x Optisch, 2x Coax; Ausgänge Cinch und balanced XLR (!). Der NAD 1050 hat mich sehr happy gemacht und ist nur wegen Umstieg auf ein deutlich teureres Hi-End-Setup in meinem Heimstudio zu verkaufen. In dem Preissegment des NAD habe ich noch kein anderes Gerät gehört, das mich so überzeugt hat. Guter Gebrauchtzustand, voll funktionstüchtig, aus tierfreiem Nichtraucherhaushalt, optischer Zustand: Front, Oberseite, Rückseite fast neuwertig, Seiten (matter Softlack) haben je nach Lichteinfall kaum bis mittelmäßig sichtbare Wischspuren; das Wichtigste: klanglich 1A.
