This was a former dealer demo unit from a NYC dealer that closed shop. It was in storage for the last 3 years and we recently acquired it. Unfortunately, the drawer will not stay close once it powers up and the drawer is opened for the first time. It will slide close with and without a CD on its tray but it will bounce open again. Please Read Carefully Preowned NAD C546BEE CD Player Compact Disc Player. Unit is being sold For Parts or Repair. After powering On, front display will read Disc Error. CD drawer opens and closes without issues but when a CD is placed inside, the display will continue to show Disc Error. On occasions (maybe around 5% of the time), if you power the unit On and put pressure on the top casing, you will get No Disc on the display as shown in one of the photos. Cosmetically the unit is in good condition with no excessive wear such as dents or dings. See photos for exact condition. No other testing was performed on the unit because of this issue.
