NAD C270 Stereo Power Amplifier - for sale by original owner in excellent condition. US version. Includes all original packaging and documentation including the owners manual. I bought this NAD C270 power amp (and the companion NAD C160 preamp in my other listing) in 2002 as NAD factory refurbished units. The original sales receipt is included with each unit. I used them in my home stereo system for several years - they sounded great and worked perfectly. Key features of the NAD C270: 120W x 2 continuous power into 8 ohms. 210W, 340W, 450W dynamic power into 8, 4 and 2 ohms, respectively. Bridgeable to 300W mono into 8 ohms. 12V trigger input for Standby/On switching. Double set of loudspeaker binding posts to facilitate bi-wiring. NAD Impedance Sensing Circuit (ISC) topology. Toroidal power transformer. All discrete circuitry. All sockets gold plated. Both fixed and variable inputs, switch selectable. Soft clipping. Following a stereo system update a few years ago both the preamp and power amp were stored back in their original factory packaging. They have always been in a climate controlled, smoke-free household environment. Although this unit was working properly when last used, it has been in storage for several years and I was not able to fully test it out before listing it this sale.
