This NAD C315BEE has been fitted with a new Balance Potentiometer (Dual MN Taper) and a suitable small knob to fit its knurled shaft. All of the other components are original except as below; I upgraded the Speaker Relay. The original relay had become intermittent on one channel.. Ive upgraded the audio capacitors to nichicon FW and Fine Gold, with Rubycon at the Preamp Outputs. The Power Supply Main caps have been upgraded to 63V nichicon, while the others are Panasonic, Chemicon, etc. For added versatility, I have repurposed the (fixed line level) Tape Output RCA Jacks to be (variable level) Preamp Outputs suitable for a powered Subwoofer, external Power Amp, etc. Im also including a new 6-button learning remote programmed for Mute On/Off, Volume Up/Down, and 3 Input Selects DISC, CD, and AUX. I can reprogram as requested. Cosmetically, this unit is in excellent shape except for 2 small cracks in the front panel near the volume control. Pre-owned, Limited Tested, NAD Stereo Integrated Amplifier C 315BEE: Black metal case has scratches & scuffs from prior use and storage. The power plug is approx. 6 feet long. The case measures approx. 17 x 12 x 3 and weighs about 12 pounds. There is an extra wired plug on front (unsure of its use/purpose) that is approx. 10 feet long. There is no remote for this amplifier. Unit was power tested only and had some static noise through speakers (Not Included). No manual or paperwork with this amplifier. This NAD C315BEE has been fitted with a new Balance Potentiometer (Dual MN Taper) and a suitable small knob to fit its knurled shaft. All other components are original except as below; I replaced the Speaker Relay and series resistor. The original relay often becomes intermittent over time, so its best to replace it as a preventative measure. Ive upgraded the audio capacitors to nichicon FW and Fine Gold, with Rubycon at the Preamp Outputs. The Power Supply Main caps have been upgraded to 63V nichicon, while the others are Panasonic, Chemicon, etc. For added versatility, I have repurposed the (fixed line level) Tape Output RCA Jacks to be the (variable level) Preamp Outputs suitable for a powered Subwoofer, external Power Amp, etc. Im also including a new 6-button learning remote programmed for Mute On/Off, Volume Up/Down, and 3 Input Selects DISC, CD, and AUX. Rated at 40 NAD watts per channel, the 45 Volt Main Rails and 10,000uF Main Caps indicate plenty of IHF Power as well. While the reviewers are quite complimentary of this model, some have mentioned their desire for Preamp Outputs which this customized unit provides. It should be noted that the Standby Mode draws similar power and generates similar heat to the ON Mode. I recommend turning OFF the Main Switch on the Rear Panel when not in use.
