NAD 216 THX Stereo amplifiers in mint condition and extremely well taken care of. The unit is in perfect working order and comes in original, double boxes with matching serial numbers and original mint condition owners manual. These are POWER AMPS and need a pre-amp (not included). However, assuming you know what youre looking at, these are great amps that I have meticulously cared for and appreciated for years. NAD 216 THX stereo power amplifier If you are reading this listing you probably know how highly-regarded these power amps are. I used this one to drive the front channels LF in my system until it stopped working, when I replaced it with an identical one. I have now replaced all (34) of the electrolytic capacitors excluding the 4700uF 100v power supply capacitors which I have never known to fail. I also replaced the speaker terminal posts with some taken from a NAD 916 as one of them was broken. This amp has since been tested extensively and is working beautifully again, but as I repaired another one of these at the same time I now have two working spares, which is more than I need. Please look at the pictures as they form part of the description. They were all taken after the repairs were competed. The front panel and top cover have got a few scratches and marks as can be seen. If you have a NAD 216 which is not working, but which is in better cosmetic condition than this one, please get in touch if you would be interested in having these good internals swapped into your case rather than buying this amplifier as it is. I will send this via courier to a mainland UK address if required. Cost is likely to be around £20 due to the weight.

NAD 216 THX power amplifier in fair-good condition. Unit has been tested and is working well. Sound quality is excellent, with balanced audio output across both channels. Power switch works properly and front panel indicators illuminate. I could not find any electronic issues after a lengthy testing session. Cosmetically, amp shows considerable wear. I know a bit of the history of this piece. The original owner (I am second owner) used this amp periodically as a PA amp (bridged mono to power two massive monitors). The amp has definitely been pushed hard. Interior of unit shows evidence of dust and some minor surface oxidation. All interior components appear to be in sound condition. Im certain that amp has been exposed to smoke, but I cant see or smell any evidence of heavy nicotine exposure; however, a sensitive nose may detect an odor. Exterior of unit shows a fair amount of wear. Front panel has scuffs, scratches, dings, etc. Panel edges have a lot of chipped paint. Overall, front panel doesnt look too bad. Metal cabinet also shows considerable wear. Vents have scattered dents and corners have scratches, paint chips, etc. Top of cabinet has some shallow depressions (probably from stacking). Rear panel is in good condition. Binding posts are fully intact. All four cabinet feet are present. Power cord is in good shape. Amp is guaranteed to arrive in described condition. Please inspect & test upon receiving and notify me directly if there are any issues. Unit will be double-boxed for shipping, along with plenty of cushioning.
