Description
Selling NAD 585 (Orginal cost $1200), as I do not use player anymore. I only minimally used it, as I do not own many SACD discs. Instead, I stream HD music files via my PC. This NAD 585 universal player is in excellent condition, as all features work. Never had any problem with this player. Drive mechanism is like new. . To play 2-channel audio, you do not need to hook up to tv or computer, just plug into amplifier RCA inputs to obtain great HD or SACD sound fidelity (24 bit, 96 sampling). As many independent reviews indicated superb sound fidelity, I can confirm sound is high quality (musical, dynamic and transparent), as good as any high-end universal player. especially if matched with NAD, Rotel, Yamaha, Denon, etc. superior sound amplifier. When I played SACD discs, I used a $1,500 NAD 100 watt integrated amplifier with B&W tower speakers - sound fidelity was great compared to any $5-10k stereo system, as I listened to many electronic/speaker hi fidelity systems. In fact, my said system sound fidelity compared equally to $5k Classe 100-watt integrated amplifier with B&W tower speakers, when playing CDs, CD-Rs, WMA, MP3, or SACD discs via NAD T585 player.
