NAD 3240 PE Integrated Amplifier Tested & Inspected IMPORTANT! You will need to jump out the pre out to the main in with a pair of plain RCA cables if you are not using an external encoder device such as noise reduction, or expanders. This is normal. There are usually factory metal jumper rods in place here in the center of the RCA plugs. You can also fabricate your own pair of rods, but RCA cables will work just fine. You will not get any input sound if you do not do this. This unit is in great cosmetic shape and has been fully tested on all features. The pot controls are very quiet and there is no static. This was tested on a set of vintage Celestion Dittons and was able to sustain output power without bad distortion though a series of vigorous tone generated tests and speaker output levels with proper meter testing with and without speakers. This will be securely packed for shipping. WARNING! Do not buy delicate unserviced electronics anywhere else There is a trend going on with sellers who sell vintage audio/video equipment. Most are not serviced or inspected properly or just simply copy and lie what other sellers do just to make the sale. Nice, simple, reliable integrated amp. Minimalist modern looking dark gray face plate with high quality controls throughout. Features Bass & Treble controls, Bass EQ, Infra on/off, Mono, Tape Monitor, Low level and loudness controls as well as soft clipping. Unit features RCA phono inputs as well as impedance switch (8 ohm or 4 ohm). Very nice, fully working unit with some minor cosmetic issues. #8- condition. Unit is in excellent operating condition but does have some signs of age and some cosmetic issues. Chassis & Covers have some lightly surface rusted areas. Faceplate and rear panel are both very clean. Unit had recent service including relay clean/ polish, Some solder points fixed/ reinforced. All controls and connectors recently cleaned. #8- condition but unit is fully operational and works great, just some cosmetic issues. Unit has been fully tested for functionality and quality.
