This fully recapped and restored 3020B looks, feels, and sounds like new (or better)! It arrived with a nasty HUM due to failing capacitors in the Preamp Power supply. It also had several damaged RCA Jacks, so I replaced the full Input set of 6 with new color coded jacks. The Red Jacks are a bit shorter than the White, but I still like it! The upgraded Audio Caps are Vishay Film, nichicon MUSE BP, Fine Gold and ELNA. The Main Caps have been upgraded from 4700uf to 6800uF 105C Chemicon for an extra IHF Punch. The Offset trimpots have been upgraded to multi turn equivalents for better accuracy and stability. The Biases have been re-calibrated with new RX resistors installed as required. They also have Banana Jack Speaker outputs.They are all discrete and have the low-noise Phono Preamp for MC/MM cartridges that NAD used for years thereafter. BTW, the 3020 LAB IN RCA Jacks can also be used as Preamp Outputs for a Powered Subwoofer, etc. Adding a Sub can be life changing.

Ampli NAD 32020B en superbe état de marche et esthetique révision effectué: changement de quelque résistance hors spécificationchangement de quelque condensateur hors spec test des autre a l ESR potentiomètre et sélecteur révisé et nettoyernettoyage complet intérieur, extérieurtest des courant de repos ...etc Ampli qui drive mes DM2 avec un équilibre impressionnant et mes Esoter avec classe. Ses 2 X 25 Watt sont certainement une aide ponctuelle, mais cest juste un régale. Un son chaud, précis, pêchu, clair, détaillé au possible. Cet ampli, en plus dêtre beau, est juste superbe pour mes oreilles. J’ai été conquis avec les DM2 et les DM4. En effet, ces enceintes anglaises sont superbes pour le rendu des voix, mais il ne faut pas leur demander une dynamique capable de réveiller Fenshu Kabadawi ou joey jordison, mais pour un rendu de voix classique, pour du Jazz, ces enceintes sont des merveilles. Pourtant, le NAD arrive à leur apporter une dynamique qui va permettre à ces enceintes de se surpasser. Comme je l’ai dit, un superbe équilibre. Avec cet ampli, les DM2 gardent leur identité, mais se démènent d’avantage pour apporter un surplus de dynamique vraiment intéressant. Là on a l’image en 3D et l’expression dans une seule paire d’enceintes, ce qui est rare.Le NAD 3020 peut être utilisé comme le cœur dun système audio audiophile élaboré. Par exemple, les prises de sortie préampli peuvent être connectées via un cordon de raccordement stéréo à nimporte quel amplificateur de puissance séparé de haute qualité.
