Straight from the early 90s, this Sony audiophile grade power amp will stand up against all the rest. Its rated at 200 watts per channel into 8 ohms. It weighs an impressive 53 lbs. so please be ready when they bring it to your door. I have tested this amp and I was thoroughly impressed. Really made that Big Band music sound great (dont judge me.) Cosmetically, this unit is as good as it gets and Ive included several close-up pictures so you can make your own assessment. Also, I have the matching preamp on eBay running at the same time this one ending within 5 minutes of each other so if you want a match set, nows your chance ! This model shows up on eBay occasionally but few can match the condition of this one youre looking at. The only thing I can find that it needs is the left line input level control is a little staticky upon adjustment and could use a squirt of contact cleaner, but Ill leave that to the new owner. After the adjustment is made, the static goes away of course. Im being picky here but I try to mention everything. This is a no reserve auction starting at $1 and will be packed very carefully. High End Endstufe der Absoluten Spitzenklasse von Sony in optischen Top- Zustand mit OVP. Unverbastelter Originalzustand! Hatte ihn bei mir über den „fixed Input“ in Betrieb. Eine Einschränkung ist der variable Input mit den vorderen Drehreglern welche klangtechnisch „kritscheln“ und verzerren je nach Bewegung an den Drehreglern. Nach Recherche sind diese möglicherweise korrodiert und müssten entsprechend behandelt werden. Über den fixed Eingang kann die Endstufe mit Vorverstärker zum Musikhören verwendet werden. Wegen der genannten Einschränkung biete ich den Traum Verstärker auch zu einem deutlich niedrigeren Preis an als die sonst veranschlagten 1400 bis 2000 Euro.
