For sale is my Mytek Brooklyn DAC / Headphone / Preamplifier /MM&MC Phono Stage. This is one versatile piece of kit, I bought it as a DAC and it is incredibly accomplished having huge amounts of detail and an excellent, side soundstage. Loads of great reviews on line for this. Its a one box wonder! I have also used this as a second phono stage for both MM and MC carts (I used DV XX2 MK2 and an AT VM750SH). Having a line stage on a DAC is awesome and you could use this as a pre-amp if required as it has so many settings, inputs and indeed outputs - both RCA and XLR. I used with an Audiolab CD Player over AES and an Auralic Aries over SPDIF - both sounded great!! You can connect via USB for configuration too. Supercool ability to change the LED light to match your other equipment too. Photo shows the display a little off - rest easy, its perfect just a bad photo. The Brooklyn DAC is a versatile and very capable D-A converter. It accommodates all of the standard PCM and DSD formats as well as MQA files, and includes flexible analogue and digital preamp facilities, including an RIAA input mode, as well as USB connectivity. In addition, its very powerful headphone amplifier is capable of driving balanced headphones. I have recently got an new DAC so this is now surplus to requirements and I couldnt justify keeping it just for the Phono stage. Upgraded to latest firmware and complete with power chord and an Apple Remote. It has no box and two small scratches on the top of the casing. The beautiful aluminium front is immaculate though. Sensible offers will be excepted but Ive listed it at a competitive price. Any questions just ask.
