Mytek Brooklyn DAC+ With MCRU Linear PSU. A fantastic DAC with a huge sound stage. It also decodes and plays MQA files. It has an inbuilt pre-amplifier and a superb headphone amplifier as well. The Mytek Brooklyn DAC+ model has been completely redesigned, and features the latest D?A converter hardware with selectable reconstruction filtering options, improved clocking, restyled analogue circuitry, and a new, powerful headphone amplifier. The unit can also be used with balanced headphones via a special adaptor cable. Other highlights include a certified hardware MQA decoder, the ability to accept DSD audio (in the DOP format), a configurable analogue preamp section, which can accept the output from a turntable pickup cartridge if desired, and the ability to be remotely controlled either via the supplied Apple aluminium remote control, or any RC5?compatible universal remote. The Brooklyn DAC+ enjoys comprehensive digital audio connectivity, with two coaxial S/PDIF inputs (doubling?up as separate left/right SDIF inputs for a hardware DSD source), optical S/PDIF (Toslink), AES3, and USB 2.0. There’s also word?clock (in and out) on BNC connectors to allow synchronisation in multi?channel applications. All the standard PCM formats can be accommodated up to 32?bit/384kHz, plus the three most common DSD formats (DSD64, 128, and 256). As mentioned above, it also supports the MQA ‘master quality’ file format (see SOS August 2016 for more information: https://sosm.ag/mqa?format). MYTEK Brooklyn AMP+ Amp+ is in perfect condition. Works perfectly. Less than 20 hours of usage. This Amp+ is NOT a unit from the HEM factory in Poland. This has been confirmed via email by Mytek Audio in the US, based on the units serial number. Comes with the power cable I received with the unit. But it is a 3 amp fuse so does not power the amp. The shop apologised and offered another but I already had a 13 amp power cable to use so it didn’t matter. Included is a pair of Balanced XLR HiDiamond 1 Signal cables rrp £550. Same cable currently being sold on eBay by Elite Audio for £349 Dispatched with RM Special Delivery insured up to 20kg and £2,500. I am open to collection and other postal services.
