Up for sale is one Musical Fidelity X-P200 Power Amplifier. It’s in perfect electrical order and superb condition: please see the photos taken in bright daylight. This is a seriously powerful piece of kit: 125 watts per channel into 8 ohms, rising to 260 watts in bridges mode (if you can find another one: there’s not too many of these around as I guess people hang onto them). More importantly it’s got 75 amps of current peak to peak: this thing grips speakers like little else I’ve heard. How does it sound? In a word, it’s FUN. It doesn’t expose rubbish recordings too badly, it’s ultra clean from top to bottom and the tunes seriously boogie. I can only imagine what it sounds like in bridged mode if you can source another of these: I guess all the above but turned up to 11. Selling due to upgrade, but I’ve had to spend considerably more to better this and diminishing returns have hit me hard. It’s from a smoke free home and comes complete with power cable only: I don’t have the manual (it’s freely available online) nor the original packaging. I will however pack this to the standard I’d expect for expensive hifi: I doubt you’ll be disappointed. Collection from Cardiff preferred, otherwise postage via Royal Mail Special Delivery (fully insured) will be £15.
