Musical Fidelity CD Pre24 Audiophile CD Player and Preamplifier. This particular component belonged to a relative, so I know its history. Unit was never used due to a low wife approval rating. At the time he decided to never use and pack away his stereo system and keep his wife. That has since changed but he has moved on and has no use for the stereo equipment. I removed this massive stereo CD Player/Preamplifier from its original packing and gave it thorough test including the remote control. As would be expected, everything works as new. CD player, preamplifier, etc. all perform perfectly. The only thing changed was that the original triple A batteries were discarded. I tested them with a voltmeter, and they were weak, so I added a brand-new set of batteries. Some of the Styrofoam packing in the box chaffed a little but everything is there including the owners manual. As previously stated, this unit is new so cosmetic condition is factory fresh. This CD/Preamplifier masterpiece will be double boxed. We want it to arrive in the same perfect condition it was shipped out in. We will add packing, and ship it like we are sending to ourselves. Very nice all analog Musical Fidelity M2si amplifier with 6 analog inputs and excellent Musical fidelity M3scd cd player that can serve as digital hub in near mint condition. Comes in original packaging all with black satin bags and gloves:)). The amplifier has power of 2 x 75W channels and gives very nice high-end, clear and neutral British sound with any reasonable sensitive speakers. It has 6 analog line-in inputs and line-out and preamp out outputs. It can serve as an amp, or as an preamp for people that need a lot of inputs. Lacking any digital inputs makes it quite future proof device. The lack of digital inputs is solved by addition of M3scd which is excellent cd player in itself but also features coax, optical and async USB inputs, so it can serve either as DAC for your system or as a digital hub if you have external DAC of higher quality. I have been using this combo for some time now and have been very satisfied with high-end sound it gives for its price. I found the combination of all analog amplifier and separate digital device very practical and have enjoyed both analog and digital sources with it. The amp also shines when used just as an amplifier. The reason Im selling it is because Ive got power hungry and not so much sensitive speakers and I need more powerful amp now, so Im upgrading to M5si, M2scd combination.
