Musical Fidelity A220 Class A integrated amp in excellent condition. I’ve owned this amp for about 20 yrs. Upgraded to Musical Fidelity A3.2 about 3 yrs. ago. Due to the age of the amp, being sold as is. I suspect it will be hard to find this highly regarded amp in this kind of condition. I could not find any scratches or marks on the amp – in pristine physical condition.The amp was recapped by Parts Connexion, Canada about 10 yrs. ago and has been sitting in storage for the last 3 yrs.All capacitors were replaced with high quality Nichicon caps or the likes.Speakers posts were upgraded to Cardas Premium Copper binding post (as seen in the pics).Volume knob moves smoothly (no scratching) and channel selector snaps into the detents flawlessly.Tested right before listing (see video clip) and everything seems to be working as it should. Please watch the clip with good quality headphones to get a feel for the great sound of this amp, but that said keep in mind that the iPhone is the limiting factor for sound quality!I do recall that occasionally, the amp would produce a “pop” at the speakers when it was being turned off.Will double-box and pack very securely for safe shipping.
