Superb, smooth-sounding vintage class A Musical Fidelity amplifier. Built-in MM/MC phono stage so plug and play if you have a turntable. Fully serviced and recapped by Vinyl Realm in October 2022. My breakdown of the work carried out on your A1 Musical fidelity. 1. Replacement of smoothing caps, upgrade to 105c. These were sourced via a German company at a cost of £92 including V.A.T and postage. 2. Fitted as per axial fittings on main board. Passed after 4hr burn in. 3. Volume pot was cleaned and wiring checked for issues. Passed 4. Voltage regulators checked, all within standard tolerance. 5. General check of resistors, doides and pre-amps all within expected tolerances. 6. General check across PCB for any dry or cracked solider, some fresh solider applied where needed.
