Das kann ich jetzt aus eigener Erfahrung besttigen. Zustand optisch: sehr gut, leichte Gebrauchsspuren Zustand technisch: einwandfrei Sandwich-Aufbau, aus zwei voneinander entkoppelten Ebenen. Doppel-Korpus, mit einem ordentlichen Gewicht von 8,5 kg Klavierlack auf der Deckplatte fr ein schlichtes aber edles Design, was einiges daher macht Riemen angetriebener, laufruhiger Plattenspieler Aufwndige Entkopplung mit zwei Chassisplatten Die untere Platte steht auf drei Dmpfungsfen. Das sorgt fr eine unkritische Aufstellung des Plattenspielers aufgrund der guten Abwehr von niederfrequenten Schwingungen. In der Bodenplatte befinden sich der nochmals isolierte Antriebsmotor sowie das Anschlussterminal fr Signal- und Masseleitung, der Kippschalter zum Einschalten des Antriebs ist an der Unterseite angebracht. Die obere Platte ruht auf sechs kleinen, umgekehrten Gummispikes der unteren Platte, wodurch die noch verbliebenen Motorvibrationen ferngehalten werden. Der Motor treibt mittels Flachriemen den Kunststoff-Subteller an, auf welchem der schwere Aluminiumguss-Plattenteller aufliegt, fr zustzliche Dmpfung sorgt eine Matte. Das Tellerlager besteht aus einem gehrteten Edelstahldorn in einer mit Teflon berzogenen Buchse. Die Schraubklemme aus Metall sowie der wirklich leicht zu justierende Neuneinhalb-Zoll-Tonarm stammen von Pro-Ject. Der Tonarm besteht aus einem einteiligen Armrohr aus Alu mit Headshell, womit ein etwaiger Wechsel des Tonabnehmers zum Kinderspiel wird, der Azimut kann nach Lsen einer Schraube justiert werden. Hhenverstellung der Armbasis sowie Einstellung der Auflagekraft mittels verstellbarem Gegengewicht mit Skala und Antiskatingkraft Justierung mit einem Gewicht. Mit Hilfe der auf der Deckplatte eingelassenen Dosenlibelle, (in dieser Preisklasse nicht selbstverstndlich), lsst sich der Plattenspieler in perfekt waagerechten Stand ausrichten. Wie schon erwhnt, macht sich der groe Aufwand, von Music Hall mit dem mmf-5.1 in Sachen Entkopplung und Dmpfung, in Kombination mit einem guten Tonabnehmer (nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten) beim Hrtest bezahlt. Der Plattenspieler spielt ruhig, przise und kontrolliert, authentisch, im stmmigen Bass- und Grundtonbereich mit recht warmem Klangbild und viel Substanz. Die agilen Mitten tnen geschmeidig, die Hhen klar vernehmbar ohne zu aufdringlich zu sein. In dieser Preisklasse hat der druckvoll und sehr dynamisch aufspielende Music Hall eine der bestmglichen Klangeigenschaften. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhltnis ist also berragend. Music Hall mmf-5.1 belt drive turntable with Pro-Ject Speedbox s and Stanton 681eee moving magnet cartridge. I have had this turntable since 2008. I used it a bit until 2010 and it has been in storage since. I just set it up with a vintage Stanton 681eee with a new stylus from LP Gear ($149) and it sounds great. The turntable has an upgraded acrylic platter, upgraded Pro-Ject interconnect and new Path Wings cork mat and new belt. I was planning to use this as a second turntable, but have changed my mind. I have all the original materials including manual, 45-adapter, protractor, and a second mirrored protractor, vta allen wrench and more. The Pro-Ject speedbox is a high-quality addition which improves speed stability and allows changing speeds without removal of the platter. The gloss black plinth is super clean; close to mint. The dustcover has some scratches on the left (vertical) side that are not very noticeable. But if you want pristine, a new dustcover can be purchased for $70 and are easily available, e.g., Musicdirect.com. Turn table is New open box. Item was returned by the customer due to the counter weight being broken off. There is some scuffing near the needle from packaging. All components are still new and sealed inside the box. Please be aware that the counterweight appears to be damaged. It is a cheap part to replace and fix but we are not experts. Music Hall MMF 5.1- This was a fantastic turntable. It’s been stored in climate controlled space for a few years. One of the wires in the tone arm is broken near the platter, so only one channel was working. It is missing the power supply and small hardware for the cartridge, as well as the counter weight. Music Hall suggested their repair shop, I have the information written down on the box. Fixed up this will make a great addition. The AT cartridge is brand new.
