Son haut-parleur daigu bénéficie de la technologie ATT développée initialement pour la série Performance. La reproduction des hautes fréquences sen trouve mieux définie et plus aérée quavec un aigu de conception traditionnelle. Le médium-grave CPC de dernière génération offre, pour sa part, une très bonne réponse dans le bas du spectre et une reproduction très équilibré dans le médium. Le coffret adopte des lignes incurvées, prévenant ainsi la formation des ondes stationnaires. À lécoute, le son est clair, très détaillé et limage stéréo jouit dune excellente spatialisation. Lesthétique de la Mezzo 2 est à la hauteur de ses performances musicales avec notamment ladoption dun cache à fixation magnétique qui, une fois retiré, dévoile la superbe façade de lenceinte.Avec la Mezzo 2, Mordaunt-Short signe une très belle enceinte compacte qui séduit autant au regard quà lécoute.
