What an amazing amplifier... I really want to keep it, but Ive enjoyed it for long enough and it should be used more often. So powerful, I am still shocked at the performance of this buddy. Massive power supply, quite heavy, super well-built. If youve done any searching or research on this, you know its a powerhouse. The sound is detailed, persuasive, sudden, never harsh... and this was with high sensitivity speakers too. Condition is well cared for, but with some minor marks here and there from moving a few times. They show up more in pictures than they do in real life... I was trying to get a lot of sun on it so you can see every speck.

I am the original owner of this Mondial Designs Aragon 4004 power amplifier.The amplifier is in excellent physical condition, with a couple of minor scratches here and there which can be expected with an amp of this age and weight.The Aragon has been in climate controlled store for several years and before listing her on eBay today. She was fully bench tested at a local shop specializing in vintage audio and passed with flying colors. Either surpassing or meeting the original factory specification which are:Power output: 200 watts per channel into 8? / 400 watts per channel into 4?Frequency response: 20Hz to 20kHzTotal harmonic distortion: 0.05%Signal to noise ratio: 110dB Dimensions: 19 x 6.5 x 14.5 inchesWeight: 65lbs The 4004 is a true dual mono power amp designed by Dan DAgostino of Krell fame. This will drive pretty much anything- 200w/ch at 8 ohms doubling to 400w/ch at 4 ohms. There are no capacitors in the signal path so there are no caps to replace due to age.From the original manufacturers brochure: Because we could not find any capacitors that did not manifest some degree of dielectric absorption we decided to totally eliminate all capacitors from the signal path. Our circuitry handles complex musical passages without the minute electronic echoes that blur conventional capacitive-coupled circuits.Overbuilt to a ridiculous specification, it is a true dual mono inside with two massive power transformers. This amp delivers all the power possible from a standard 15A AC line.The output transistors are matched to over 30 categories, more stringent than any other audio manufacturer.
