For Sale is a hand made audiophile tube preamplifier, made by Mod Wright Industries, model LS100. This Preamp is in excellent condition, complete in box with all original packing materials and accessories. excellent sound quality and has home theater bypass feature to allow integration into surround sound systems. This unit is in need of tubes (2x 6SN7 signal tubes and 1x 5AR4/GZ34 rectifier tubes) as the stock tubes have high hours on them. The right rube lets a slight background noise through once its warmed up and I have swapped the tubes and it follows to the left and I have tried with a borrowed set of tubes and all is corrected. I am not sinking any more money in this for new tubed as I already have my new preamp and this is not being used any longer. Mod Wright still builds these so you can buy a phono stage from them if you would like, but I used an outboard unit. XLR input and output are single ended so keep that in mind if connecting to amplifiers with actual balanced XLR connections, as they will pick up the ground noise from the single ended connection in the preamp.
