Selling this original MMC 6000 phono cartridge for the Beogram turntables from Danish Bang & Olufsen. The MMC 6000 is in great working condition, looks and sounds fantastic. It is fully original and has never been retipped, meaning it has the original berrylium cantilever and the multi-radial Pramanik-style cut diamond . This is the wonderful Bang & Olufsen MMC20CL Cartridge which I used sparingly on my B&O 4004 Linear Tracking Turntable and was always critically acclaimed by many reviewers and audiophiles. I had a cartridge on the 4004 and this MMC20CL was my extra. Before I recently sold the 4004 I installed this cartridge and set tracking force to 1gm. This cartridge sounds excellent with wide soundstage, sizzling highs, and a very smooth midrange plus both channels working. Truly one of the best sounding cartridges I have listened to. I was going to keep cartridge and install on other (non B&O) turntable but I would need an adapter to go to 1/2 mount and cost was over $150 so I am now selling cartridge. This MMC20CL is a very delicate cartridge with its crystal sapphire cantalever so I have decided to sell AS-IS for parts or repair for I need to protect myself from swappers or someone who breaks the cantalever. Altersübliche Gebrauchsspuren sind vorhanden. Ein MMC6000 Pickup wäre prinzipiell auch verfügbar um in den vollen Quad Genuss zu kommen. Hier müssten wir dann aber noch mal wegen dem Preis sprechen.

Ive been in hi fi for about 25 years. I have a lot of cartridges and now Im organizing my with hi-fi stuff and putting a few of them up for sale. Here is the B&O 6000MMC cartridge with adapter. Cantilever and needle are visually ok, see photo. The cartridge is untested, I really forgot what condition it is in, it has been sitting for a long time. At the moment I dont have the opportunity to examine it, so consider that the cartridge is not in working condition. This product has been thoroughly cleaned externally/ Internally where possible & has been tested/ visually inspected prior to advertising to ensure the item is in functioning working order. This piece of kit has been fitted with a new belt and has had the single oiled for good measure, it comes in full working order with a MMC 20EN Cart. The piece of kit has minor signs of wear from previous use and the platter has had a hard life although this can be covered by a rubber platter mat which can obtained online at low cost.
