Mitsubishi Z-20 Vertical Linear Turntable & Tape & Amp Hi-Fi System & Speakers. New belts have been fitted to the turntable and tape. The turntable plays and sounds good as it has had a new stylus fitted. Has been tried on both speed and 7 & 12 inch records. The tape plays fine, and sounds good, but will not fast forward or rewind (recording hasn’t been tried). The tape door sometimes sticks when opening, also one of the small door clips is damaged, see photo. The aux input has been tested and works well. The radio also works well. Overall in excellent order, working, not 100% but good enough for general use. Includes the original speakers, no further items. Comes as shown, no further items. Starting to list all of the loose receivers and turntables. There are so many and I cannot fully test all of them, so they will be sold as is, for parts/repair. I will however test what can easily be tested and write my findings here: Unit powers on and all functions/lights/ meters/switches appear to work on faceplate. I cannot get the tape player to make any movement. The eject button is slightly bent up. Cannot figure out how to make the record player spin. I don’t know if I’m doing it correctly. The lights for the record player all work. Unit comes with cartridge and stylus which are also untested. Cartridge/stylus has the writing “3D-47M” Please see photos! I recently acquired a very large lot of mostly new old stock, open box condition vintage audio equipment. There are many receivers, turntables, 8 track players, cassette players, speakers, tube kits, radios, ect. All of these items are from Whitney’s estate, a man who had a 1970’s habit of purchasing a great deal of the stuff that he loved. There is so much stuff, that I can’t possibly test every single function of every single unit. I will be thorough in my initial inspection and test for power, switch and pot response, faceplate functionality, and everything else I can test for easily. However I do not have the time to hook up auxiliary components such as speakers, phono inputs, ect. Most of these items are in pristine, unused condition and have not been powered up for nearly 50 years. Please expect that these units will likely need some routine maintenance to be performed. Such as any rubber belts on cassette and 8 track players are likely to be dry rotted and may need replacement, turntables may have dried up grease that will need to be removed and replaced with fresh grease, as well as any other ailments of 50 year old electronics. Due to the overwhelming nature of this estate, I cannot accept returns. However, if there are any major issues outside of routine maintenance or things like replacing rubber belts, replacing lights, scratchy sounding knobs ect please contact me and we will work something out. The unit its in overall good condition Unit includes a Bluetooth mod made by the previous owner, my phone can see the unit but I wasn’t able to connect it successfully. *The turntable is fully working (Missing portion of the arm rest)* Radio is not working* cassette tape is not working* Amplifier: not all the LED function lights are working, the volume needs to be cleaned otherwise is fully working I use the turntable connected to a better amp thru line out and it sounds perfectly. All this faults are because of the horrible packaging done by the seller whom I bought this from.The LED lights are disconnected not broken, the cassette tape was displaced from the original position, it needs to be repositioned and then serviced, the radio is disconnected.This was the original diagnostic from a technician friend but he is too old now and its not repairing HiFi anymore, he just assessed the faults.All this happened in transit when I bought it
