Power handling from 7watts to 400watts, power beyond most modern speakers in its middle range class high dollar in 80s still best value for output and audio range out performing even most high end sound reproduction and use. Larger than most middle sized and were used on stands for front speakers or Satellites. No stands included. Fairley large to call or use as bookshelve speakers, 21 tall by 8 by 7.5. Miller & Kreisel (legacy) S-150AC center channel speaker. I am the original owner. Speaker is from a pet free/smoke free home. This speaker was recently used as the center channel for the 9 main channels in my system (they are all S-150s). My only reason for selling is because I swapped it with a S-150 non-angled center (I had in storage) that fits into my setup better. The bottom of the speaker has rubber grips adhered to it that work very well to keep the speaker in position but they will no doubt cause damage if attempted to remove (see final photo) and the bottom of the speaker shows some scuffs and is certainly not in the condition of the rest of the speaker. I am offering this info because I dont want to lead the buyer into thinking they could flip the speaker to display this side. The grill has all (4) pegs and is in excellent condition. The drivers all work (no pushed in dust covers) and are in excellent condition. The front, top, sides and rear of speaker are all in excellent condition. The foam baffles are the original Soundcoat that Miller & Kreisel used and are in good condition. I am going to store the speaker for parts, but I have never needed to repair any of my speakers and I thought someone might have better use for a center channel in this condition. Matched pair of M&K S-1b satellites with original stands, in oak veneer. Two way speakers with 2x 1 soft dome tweeters and 2x 5 woofers. Frequency response 75Hz-22kHz, power 7-400w, impedance 4 ohms. They have adjustable treble and midrange. Stands have some minor scuffs. Screws for mounting on stands are included, 4 each. Grills are in good shape. One of the tweeters has divots, pictured. All tweeters and woofers are working. Sound is excellent and these things can take some power. 18 lbs each, speakers without stands measure ~21x8x8 inches. Stands have a 11.5x11.5 inches base and 16.5 inches tall. Please note that a pair of tweeters have been replaced with like Peerless soft dome 1 speakers with the same specs. Sound is the same.

This an extra speaker from my collection. Never used it and Im parting with it. Never had a screen. If you have any questions please ask and thanks for looking. The S-125 The S-125 speakers are tall and thin measuring just over 6 wide with the drivers setup in a line. The front pair of the S-125 speakers are angled slightly inward toward the listener to improve imaging. As with any speaker pair, the angles of the left and right speakers need to be tweaked to optimize the soundstage. The center channel is also angled downward for better on-axis response when placed on top of a rear-screen television. The front baffle of the S-125 is not parallel with the rear of the cabinet, nor is the sides completely parallel. This trapezoidal design helps improve the sonic qualities of the S-125 by preventing sound from bouncing back and forth inside the cabinet. Parallel surfaces tend maximize the slap echo effect, so M&K chose to minimize this with their cabinet design. Other M&K speakers such as the S-85 (used as mains or surrounds) and SS-150THX surrounds use the same drivers as the S-125 to achieve a matched timbre for seamless panning of sound from front to back. The S-125 driver arrangement has two 5-1/4 adjacent woofers with a single tweeter next to them. This is different than the more common DApollito (woofer-tweeter-woofer) configuration frequently seen in the industry. The center channel (S-125C) exhibited detailed and articulate qualities over a very wide listening angle making it ideal for the many seating positions in a home theater environment. M&K claims the Phase-Focused crossover has much to do with this wide listening window. Many speakers Ive listened to have a sweet spot with a lobing effect as the listener is moved off-axis. These speakers had a surprisingly uniform off-axis response. The back of the S-125 has two sets of inputs for selecting eitherthe NormalorBright Midrange Timbrecrossover characteristics. According to M&K, theNormalmode follows their Q-curve response, which is said to have an extremely musical tonal balance. The alternativeBright Midrange Timbreinput is a tonal characteristic more suited for absorptive room environments much like what is found in many movie theaters. Our listening environment worked best with theNormalmode, so we used this for the majority of our listening tests. These MK speakers look a little rough, but they sound great. Im the second owner, and have been using them daily for maybe 3 years with no issues. Im only passing them on in the interest of simplifying my living room. Fully functional, but showing wear on the cabinets and components. Dented dust caps, cuts on the surround of one woofer (second photo), one broken grill bracket (others appear complete but I dont have the grills). Rear switches work as far as I know but I havent tested them off the normal settings. Binding posts are good. See photos for details - Ive tried to show everything of interest.
