A classic early 70s Micro Seiki MR-111 belt drive turntable in excellent cosmetic and working condition. Fitted with an upgraded Micro Seiki H-77N headshell with new cartridge leads. The cartridge is a used Ortofon OM10 cartridge. The stylus has an unknown number of hours, but is in good shape and plays well. It has also had a new belt fitted and an upgraded tonearm lift in matching bright finish. The original small black plastic lift arm had broke. This new custom-made replacement is an improvement, and is also adjustable with the supplied hex key. Interestingly, and not usually noted, the tonearm is height adjustable, therefore providing some VTA adjustment. Cosmetically, it presents in excellent shape with only very minor marks. It has a nice teak plinth, clean and untarnished brightwork and a clean smoked dust cover. The metal plinth has no noticeable marks. In all, an excellent example of this early 70s model providing great looks and good performance. Low start and no reserve, but collection only (no shipping option). Thanks for looking.
